Pack your maple syrup, hockey jerseys, and extra politeness – SnapApp is crossing the border to the north this week for the Uberflip Experience in Toronto!
The two-day event is jam-packed with an impressive list of speakers from all over the content-creating world, including Jay Baer, Andy Crestodina, and Ann Handley. It expects to be a gathering of some of the brightest minds in marketing.
Need some convincing to attend? The Uberflip Experience is a much more intimate conference than bigger events held throughout the year, which ensures more personal interactions with a variety of marketing leaders.
Plus, since the US dollar is stronger than the Canadian dollar, you get a lot of bang for your buck across the border. What’s not to like about that?
Here are the top three things we’re excited to see in Toronto:
The iconic CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the western hemisphere, is a defining landmark in Toronto. If you visit Toronto, it’s almost mandatory that you venture on up the Tower to the top of the structure. Take the main pod up for stunning panoramic views of Toronto and Lake Ontario.
You can even eat dinner in the CN Tower – 360 Restaurant is guaranteed to give you the best views of any eatery in the city, and the food isn’t half-bad, either.
Toronto might not lay claim to much sporting excellence in this century, but that doesn’t make it any less of a sports town. If you’re spending a few extra days in the city, catch a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre (they’re playing at home each day the week of the event) or visit the Hockey Hall of Fame for a guaranteed good time.
Don’t, however, bring up how long it’s been since the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup (it was 1967, if you were curious).
One of the few major cities with a beach just minutes away from downtown, the Toronto Islands off the southern coast of the city provide a quick getaway from the bright lights of the city. The Islands are considered to be the largest urban car-free community in North America, so be prepared to walk around (not that that’s a bad thing).
We can’t wait to meet up at The Uberflip Experience – hope you’ll come out to see us!
Our CEO Seth Lieberman will be presenting a case study at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24th, the first day of the conference. He’ll also be moderating a panel on Thursday the 25th on how the C-suite approaches B2B marketing strategy. Don’t miss it!
Check it out, and don’t be afraid to come say hi to us at our booth! We’ll have tons of fun stuff to give away, so go ahead and give us a visit.
