Pangea Media, the leading provider of quiz based social marketing solutions for advertisers and publishers, announced today that the number of quizzes created, the number of people registering to take quizzes, and the total numbers of quizzes taken all grew in 2010.
Total quiz completions grew 34% from 2009 levels on Pangea Media site Quibblo.com, a popular quiz community site. Quibblo membership also grew 25% from 2009 levels, demonstrating that consumer interest in online quizzes, surveys and polls continues to expand. Some of the company's top quizzes have garnered hundreds of thousands of quiz takes.
Pangea Media is one of the premier companies combining online advertising with engaging, interactive quizzes. With its new SnapApp social marketing platform for customer engagement and acquisition, Pangea Media offers its clients the opportunity to create their own branded quizzes and polls and distribute these on their own sites, Facebook, and Twitter. Pangea Media has run quiz-based advertising campaigns for a variety of companies and organizations including Sears, Vitamin Water, Secret, Skintimate and others.
"Quizzes continue to be one of the most engaging formats on the Web," said CEO Seth Lieberman, "Across the web, marketers are using quizzes to talk with their customers instead of at them. We have seen significant year over year growth for each of the last four years and expect this to continue."
Pangea Media recently announced that it has expanded its advisory board and is hiring to meet the continued demand for its products.
