More than 200,000 individuals registered as part of campaign
Pangea Media, an online marketing company and the leading provider of quiz-based advertising solutions for advertisers and publishers, announced today the results of its highly successful Twilight: New Moon trivia contest. The contest was extremely popular, with more than 200,000 registered participants taking part in this innovative advertising campaign. The campaign combined relevant and targeted advertising from brand name companies with a 20 question Twilight trivia quiz. Samantha Silker of Eagan, Minnesota was the contest winner.
Over the seven weeks that the campaign ran, 207,000 individuals registered and completed the trivia test and more than one million unique users visited Pangea Media's websites to learn more about the quiz. Visitors used the viral marketing tools associated with the trivia test to forward emails about the campaign to thousands of "friends" in their networks. Thousands more placed branded campaign badges on their social network pages.
