Pangea Pulse: Pangea Media Survey Asks Teens Tough Questions about Relationships

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Pangea Media, an online marketing company and the leading provider of quiz-based advertising solutions for advertisers and publishers, has released the results of its latest "Pangea Pulse" which tracked the attitudes of almost 1500 teens regarding love and relationships.

According to the survey conducted on teen quiz site Quibblo, teens believe that "gay love" and "straight love" are comparable and that biracial relationships are "totally acceptable." While 78% of respondents believe that schools should not be able to ban gay couples nor biracial couples from prom, ten percent of respondents noted that schools should be able to ban these couples because "rules like that (are in the) best interest of the students."

As far as their own relationships, 46% of respondents believe it is possible to love two people romantically, but not "equally" at the same time. And 48% say they have never been in love, or don’t think they have ever been in love.
