You'll find the upload image button next to the appropriate fields. You may also upload a background image or any additional images (like a logo) in the Customize Tab. You'll see that we've provided placeholder images that you can change or upload. Under the Additional Text and Images section, you can add even more images with the Add An Image button on the bottom right. You can scale any image you upload by clicking on the scale button next to the image upload field. Enter the size dimenions for the width or height to change. Uncheck the lock if you don't want to keep ratio fixed.
You can embed a video from a service like YouTube or Wistia to any app. Go to the Customize tab and skip down to the Add Additional Tex, Images, and Video section. Click on Add Video and paste the video embed code in the field. You can re-size the video by editing the video's embed code parameters. You can position the widget by entering X and Y position values.
Go to the Customize Tab, under Colors, Layouts, and Fonts. Go to the Results page section and check: Display Total Number of Responses. Customize the text as needed.
Go to the Customize Tab, under Colors, Layouts, and Fonts. Go to the Results page section and check: Show right and wrong answers on results page.
Under the Customize Tab, you'll see two separate sections that allow you to customize your app. The first section is where you can manage the colors, layout, and fonts for your app. The second section, Additional Images and Text, is where you can upload images like logos, icons, buttons and other additional images, as well as text like slogans or call to action text.
Social Media Integration and Sharing
Help video: Advanced Facebook settings and publishing your app to Facebook What do users share to Facebook and Twitter?
You can enter a "Custom Share Message" that will be included in tweets and status updates posted by your users. Tweets and status updates include the users vote for polls, or their result for quizzes. For surveys, the share is an announcement that the user took the survey. Facebook shares contain an image from your app, and look like this:
In the "Quiz Results & Sharing" section, there is a checkbox labeled "On Facebook, enable question answering directly from the newsfeed." If you enable this feature, it will be possible for users to answer the first question of your app from within the Facebook news feed. Those news feed posts look like this:

You can set where your share links go using the "Exact URL where widget is located" field in the "Quiz Results & Sharing" section. If you use a Facebook app or microsite, leave this field blank and user clicks will automatically go there. If you embed your app as a widget on your website, however, you must specify a URL, and it must be a URL where the user can find your widget.
You'll find this feature under the Connect Tab. Select "Include Facebook 'Like' Button" and choose whether you'd like the Like button to apply to your Facebook Fan page or the page that the widget is on. If you apply the Like to your Fan page, you'll need to provide the Facebook url. You will get an error if you do not use a Facebook url in that field.
You'll find this feature under the Connect tab. Select "Include Twitter 'Follow' Button" and provide the name of your Twitter account (double check that you've spelled your username correctly).
You'll find this feature under the Connect tab. Select "Include Google '+1' Button" and specify whether you would like the user to +1 the page where the app lives or provide the url of the specific page.
You aren't limited to Facebook and Twitter. You can use share buttons from Digg, LinkedIn, MySpace, Yelp and many more. If the platform provides you with a code, paste it in the field provided. If your company has a button that you've customized and would like to use, you can include the code here. You can also create your own simplified version and just upload a button sized image and associate it with a link in the Customize Tab, under Additional Text and Images section.
Go to the Connect Tab> Social Sharing and Integration, and scroll down to Quiz Results and Sharing. Upload the image you want to the Facebook Sharing Image field. Tip: The ideal size for this image is 90x90 pixels.

No, it is not possible to have a single SnapApp be published to two separate Facebook pages simultaneously. However, you can easily clone your app and put one on each page. Doing so will also allow you to like gate for the individual Pages they are on, so that each page can increase it's own likes. Custom Facebook integrations are possible. Please contact our sales team about professional integration services available.
A QR code is an image that users can scan with their phone (after downloading a QR scanner app). You can place your QR code anywhere: flyers, a magazine ad, your website, and so on. Once scanned, the code will instantly open the SnapApp on their phone and users can engage with it. To do this, you must upgrade your app to be optimized for mobile mobile devices (under the Customize tab). When you publish your app, create a microsite url, and update the live app. SnapApp will automatically generate a QR code that you can save as an image and print out wherever you wish to run your QR code campaign.

Lead Generation
Go to the Connect tab and click on the Lead Collection section. Click on the checkbox to upgrade your App to include lead generation. Follow the steps to customize your form and specify your delivery options.
Leads generated in your app can be delivered by email or HTTP post. With email, you receive a batch file of all new leads as an email attachment on a regular scheduled basis that you determine. With HTTP post, you must have a lead capture system, which can receive leads that we post in real time as soon as they are collected.
Facebook Connect is a service offered by Facebook that provides a one-click tool for users to sign up for any service, including your lead gen form, using their Facebook information. Because Facebook provides data in a very specific format, we strongly advise that if you use this feature you click the "Set Default Facebook Fields" link, to make sure your lead gen form is synched up with Facebook's data format.
To use Facebook connect in your lead gen form, you must follow these steps:
- Check the box labeled "Enable Facebook Connect". A field labeled "App ID:" will appear.
- Each instance of Facebook Connect requires a unique App ID, obtained from Facebook. This ID must be configured for the specific domain where the user's data is used. In this case, the domain where the data is collected is snapapp.com, so you will need to create a new Facebook App ID configured for use on snapapp.com. (If you prefer to use your own Facebook App configured for your own domain, this is possible but requires some advanced technical setup, so please contact us for more information.
- To create your new App ID, login to Facebook, and go to https://www.facebook.com/developers/createapp.php
- For your App Name, enter the name of your site. Then agree to the terms and click "Create App"

- In the "About" section, enter links to your user support URL, your privacy policy and your terms of service. Enter your contact email address. If don't have, or don't wish to provide any of these, you may also use the SnapApp pages and emails shown below.

- In the "Web Site" section, enter the Site URL "http://www.snapapp.com" (NOT your own site's URL), and the site domain "snapapp.com" (NOT your own site's domain)

- After you save, copy this "Application ID" value, and paste it into the "App ID" field in the SnapApp admin
Publishing Apps
Go to the Publishing Tab and click "Publishing Methods." When you initially publish your app, you will be prompted to pay. Follow the instructions to pay for your app. Once your information is received, your app will be live!
Once you've published an app, you can publish it to multiple places. One such place is a tab on your Facebook page. Deploying your app to Facebook is a three-step process.
1. Connect to Facebook by clicking the "Connect" button.
2. Select the page you'd like the app to appear on, and click "Assign".
3. Install the App on your Facebook page and confirm the installation with Facebook. The app will then immediately appear as a tab on your Facebook page.
To remove the app, you must both uninstall SnapApp from your Facebook Page and un-assign the app from Facebook in the SnapApp admin. First remove the app from your Facebook Page. To do this, go to your Page and click Edit Info at the top. Select Apps from the left-hand menu, scroll to the SnapApp app, and click on the X to remove it. Then, log in to your SnapApp admin and select "(Not Assigned)" from the list, and then save and update your app.
You can edit and save your changes. Changes you make to an app are not live until you hit the "Update Live App" button under the Publishing Methods section. You do not need to replace your code, the changes will appear automatically, a few moments after you Publish.
If you would like to add your app to your website or blog, you can copy the HTML code and paste it in your site code. This requires some familiarity with HTML, in order to place the code in the proper location.
If you would like to create an App, but don't want to or aren't able to host it on your site, you can publish the App to a microsite. This is a single-serve site that Snap App creates and hosts for you. You can even choose the path name for your microsite.
Under the Customize tab, in the Colors, Layouts and Fonts section, there is a Mobile Optimization checkbox. Clicking this checkbox will upgrade your App so that when users visit the microsite on a mobile device, the app will be adapted to look and function optimally in the mobile phone browser. It will fill the full width of the mobile phone screen. Non-mobile browsers will be unaffected.
After the app has been published and deployed to Facebook, you will have the option to share the quiz on your Wall and in your fans' news feeds. A link will appear in the Publishing Methods section that says "Click here to post this app into your page's newsfeed." Click that link to post your quiz to your wall.
The simplest way to share your app with your Twitter followers is to tweet a link to the page where you app is located. When they then engage with the app, they can also share links on Twitter automatically.
Yes! SnapApp is completely agile. You can publish the same quiz to mulitiple websites and blogs, your Facebook page, and a microsite simultaneously.

SnapApp records and reports when your app loads, when a user intially interacts with your app, when a user reaches the results page, when a user submits a lead, when a user shares a link to Facebook or Twitter, when a viral visitor arrives at your app through a shared link, when a user likes you on Facebook via the app, or when a user follows you on Twitter via the app. You can view all these stats broken out by date, by app type, or by individual app. You can also collect response data and lead gen data per app by clicking on the appropriate links under the app of choice from the dashboard.
