January 31, 2014 | Dan Trefethen
Here at SnapApp, we love seeing the amazing, creative content that our customers build using SnapApp. From photo contests and bracket competitions to giveaways and sweepstakes, the SnapApps our customers build everyday continue to amaze us. Each week, our account managers will introduce you to one of the SnapApps we can’t stop talking about around the office.
B2B Marketers take advantage of Valentine’s Day to collect lead data
Information and marketing company PR News has put together a Valentine’s Day themed SnapApp asking users to share why they love their job. This engagement which lives on PRNewsonline.com utilizes a simple poll with write-in answer functionality as well as an attached sweepstakes with a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. This tactic not only increases time spent on site, but successfully enhances the engagement without overcomplicating it.
Leverage calls-top-action to increase content awareness
In keeping with the light-hearted theme of the engagement, PR News has incorporated several calls to action including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google+ sharing buttons. These social sharing buttons provide users the option to distribute the link to the SnapApp across their social channels and networks, increasing the virality of the content as well as the brand in which it originated from.
To date, this SnapApp has achieved an 80% lead submission rate, and counting! Click here to tell PR News why you love your job and enter to win the prize!
